i like the orion (duh). Both will be fine though. both are high quality. Or you could get the Nova +4 BTT/a, mine has been quite the enjoyable engine experience.

My next engine will be the Orion 3 port Race.

Post your experience with the B2 in the Werks thread on RCTech... Maybe Ron will give you an engine.......that you can sell for Orion money.

he got right around 7:30.

We pitted at 7min. although that shifted as the race went on due to other circumstances.

I think it would be a last minute yes or no, but I would venture to guess probably not.

Because... I need to know what my next engine is going to be.

I don't want one that goes "vrooom". I want one that goes "Vroooooooooooom!!!"....while spitting nitro fuel and oil all over the eBuggy next to me and being so loud it annoys its driver.

I will start from the begining. Last week on EBAY I found a guy selling 2 brand new Orion CRF 3 port Factory Tuned engines ($369.99 ea). He said the engines were stuck and wouldn't turn over. I ended up winning them both for $232.50 and they just got delivered. I took off the heads, heated them up and tapped the piston with the back end of a screwdriver. Piston went down just as I thought. They were stuck in the pinch. After looking down the sleeve to make sure they weren't scarred I realized one was a 3 port and the other is a 5 port.

My best EBAY score yet, $770 worth of engines for $240.

I told Shawn that they were going to end up being 5 ports....

Now you have no reason not to get a truggy. :o

Todd, I put them back together, put a flywheel on, heated them up and they turn over just like a new motor should. Same amount of pinch the B2 had when new. I'm so excited right now.

I just told Stacey I needed to buy a truggy to match the new motor and she flipped me off. :D
